Intellectual property
The code, visual identity and texts written by the publisher are its property. Content submitted by users (descriptions, field notes) remains the property of its authors, who grant the service the right to publish it under the terms of use.
Map data comes from OpenStreetMap and is distributed under the ODbL licence. Base maps are produced and hosted by the publisher from that data.
The photographs on the home page are dedicated to the public domain by their authors (CC0 1.0): “Summer Sun” by eberhard grossgasteiger and “Hiker Mountains” by Burst, both from StockSnap. That licence requires no credit; this one is here because a source you can no longer name is a source nobody can check.
Reporting content
Any manifestly unlawful, defamatory or personally identifying content can be reported from the relevant report page, or by email to contact@subalpine.it. It is removed as soon as possible.
Consumer mediation
The service is free and involves no transaction. No consumer mediation scheme is therefore required. In the event of a dispute, the competent court is that of the publisher’s registered office, subject to mandatory consumer protection rules.
